Let me tell you about Loree's Chalet.
We have eaten her 4 different times when going through this little town and the food has always been great. We are there last night and it was great again. Sam was our server and she was a delight. I see bad reviews and makes me think people will go out of the,way to give a bad review but not a good one. Keep up the good job. We will continue to make this a stop when heading to our mother's in baker city.
Food was good, price was fair but service was really bad. Our waitress Sam, used the words baby poop, and baby vomit while describing the pea soup, while in the dining room!!! My wife asked for a lemon wedge for her water and Sam said she would look for some, never told us if she found any. Later, I ask for a straw and she says, "surrrrre" with her back to me as she was walking away. Maybe she is better suited to work at jeld wen door factory down the road?
It's staffed by down home, old school folk who treat others as they are treated. It's not high society, it's grandma's house for Thanksgiving. And that's exactly what makes it special.
If you're high maintenance, they're not going to worship the ground you walk on. But if you want to enjoy a good meal where people look you in the eye and treat you like family, Then Loree's Chalet is for you.
The food here is good down home cooking. The service is great and the staff is very nice! Great place to stop and grab a bite for families and truck drivers alike! Enjoyed it very much, thank you to the Chalet Restaurant group
